Best Practices When You Need A Different Perspective on Your Painting Business

Getting A Different Prospective on Your Painting Business….

Hey, guys. Brandon Lewis here, about a mile high in the Smoky Mountains at a place called, coincidentally, the Mile High Campground. And I had a blast up here with my family for Father’s Day weekend.

We had three or four other families that came up, and just a lot of good fellowship, a lot of jokes told, a lot of food eaten, a lot of wine drank. And one of our members came up here, Trent Husky, and had a blast with him.

The thing about Trent was when he started his painting business initially, he did something kind of unusual. He immediately sought out a business coach. And three and a half years later, the guy was just remarkably successful in a rural market where a lot of people fail. He’s making lots of cash, lots of net profit to owner. And his business is growing. It’s organized.

How Do You Get A Different Perspective on Your Painting Business?

He’s really dug in and aggressively built business systems. And so one of the biggest reasons I came up here to camp this weekend really for the last four days is to get a different perspective. I mean, look out there. That is a remarkable perspective. To get to see that all weekend long while you’re camping is wonderful. And sometimes in your business, all you need is a little bit of a different perspective.

Take a break, have somebody else look at it from a different angle, and it can make a big difference. So, Trent, it was great seeing you up here, buddy. Hope you get to watch this video. And if any of you just need a different perspective on your business, somebody else to take a look at it that’s maybe looking at it from a different vantage point, I’d be happy to help.

Hope you all have a great or had a great Father’s Day weekend, depending on when you see this and when I send it out. Take care, guys. Bye-bye.

“Our first campaign reached $60,041.98! That's a huge percentage of our annual sales! You don't pick the peach orchard just one time. Different peaches ripen every day. Thanks for encouraging us to keep after it!”

“15 requests for quotes and closed and/or completed $23,000 of work and I still have a few more to do. Conservatively this campaign will net $25,000 in found money in the first 45 days! Thanks Brandon!”

“This year has been the biggest year of growth for us. We're double where we were last year. I realized the real money in this business is in the marketing of the services - not the doing of the services.”
